Monitor Page
The Monitor Page contains information from several key areas of TM3. Included
are scrolling top news stories from The Bond Buyer, recent scrolling headlines
from Thomson Municipal News, MMD AAA GO yield curve spots, Dow Jones
Industry Averages, NASDAQ and S&P 500 market updates, and the week's top 5
competitive & negotiated municipal issues.
Several features on this page contain blue hyperlinks that allow you to drill down
for further details:
Top News Stories: Click one of the scrolling headline hyperlinks to open
a pop-up window that provides the full story text.
*Note: pop-up blockers may need to be shut-off in order to access this feature.
Thomson Municipal News: News headlines automatically refresh every
minute. Click a headline hyperlinks to view the full story. This does not
open a pop-up, but will change the current page. To go back to the
Monitor page, click the "back" arrow on your browser.
Top 5 Competitive and Negotiated Issues: Whenever an amount is
listed in blue, a worksheet is available for that issue.
Click an amount hyperlink to open the worksheet for that issue. Further
links are then provided to bid parameters, scale, back of worksheet issue
information, and available documents (such as Preliminary Official
Statements).

Search News
The Search News screen allows you to query for a story or stories using
customizable search parameters.
Query Form Guidelines:
Headline
text:
Enter a word or phrase to search for a particular headline. The field contains default
'wildcards' at the beginning and the end. Thus, the search will look throughout the entire
headline for whatever word or phrase you enter. For example, entering "MISS" will return
stories with the word "MISSISSIPPI" in the headline as well as stories with the word
"
COMMISSION
".
You may enter your own 'wildcard' at any time by typing a "%". For example, typing
"FLORIDA%BONDS" will return any story that contains the word "FLORIDA" followed by
the word 'BONDS" somewhere in the headline, such as "FLORIDA DOT BONDS FREE TO
TRADE".
Date range:
Select Today, Last Two Days, Last Week, or Date Range. You may enter dates in the
following formats:
mm/dd/yy, m/d, or mm-dd-yy, m-d, or T for today plus or minus # of days.
Examples: 07/04/97, 07/04/1997, 07-04, 07-04-97, 07-04-1997, 0704, 070497, 07041997, 7 4
97, 7.4.97, T for today, or T-1 for yesterday.
If you only enter a starting date, the search will look for stories up to and including today.
If you only enter an ending date, then the search will default the starting date to six months
prior to the ending date. To search any date range greater than six months, you must enter a
starting date, but please note that any searches greater than six months will take a long time
to complete.
State:
Select a state or territory from the list box. For example, if you only want to see news stories
involving New York state, then select NEW YORK in this field. Select ALL to see stories
from any state.
News type:
Select a news type from the list box. For example, if you only want to see competitive sale
informations, select COMPETITIVE SALES in this field. Select ALL to see stories on all
types of stories.
Click a news type from the list box, or choose "ALL" to search all news types.
Click a state or territory in the list box, or choose "ALL" to search all states.
Click "Run Query" to execute your search.

Disclosure
Click a headline hyperlink to view a disclosure. Use your browser's back arrow

Search Disclosures
Select Today or enter a date range.
If you only enter a starting date, the search will look for stories up to
and including today.
If you only enter an ending date, the search will default the starting
date to six months prior to the ending date.
Select search criteria from Official Material Events, Financial Information,
Compliance Status, and Related News. Choose as few or as many options as
necessary. Select "All Material Events" and leave other fields blank to find all
disclosures in a given date range.
Click "Run Query" to execute your search.
* Note: There is a 5,000 record limit. If your search yields more than 5,000
records, only the first 5,000 will be displayed. Please narrow your search to view
additional records.

Saving Queries for Later Use
Using MS Internet Explorer you may bookmark any query you create to save for
later use.
