ProView and EdisonPro - The next generation in protective relaying
Chapter 1 - What's it all about?
The EdisonPro Relay hardware and ProView Software together create the most versatile,
flexible system available for power system protection, monitoring, and control.
This system truly represents the "next step". As such, it is significantly different than older,
fixed function designs. You will be most productive and successful in applying the
EdisonPro System if you try to start with a "clean slate" when dealing with and thinking
about this system. Of course, everything you know about protection still applies, but the
way that EdisonPro implements protection is different than in older, fixed function relays.
