M-Force Trailing Arm Bushing Washer Installation Guide
Installation
Thank you for purchasing your Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Washer kit from
Vorshlag Motorsports. In order to ensure proper installation and longevity of your
kit, Vorshlag Motorsports recommends that you have your RTAB Washers
professionally installed by a reputable shop.
Tools Required:
Floor Jack
Jack Stands
Tire Iron
Metric Socket Set
Torque Wrench
Scribe or Magic Marker
Air tools (recommended)
Bentley Service Manual
Installation Steps:
1. Review the contents of your
Vorshlag Motorsports rear trailing
arm bushing washer kit to insure that
all required parts are included. Your
kit should consist of:
Four (4) White RTAB Washers
2. Raise your vehicle and support it
with jack stands.
*Please refer to your vehicles
owner manual for proper jacking
procedure. NEVER work under an
unsupported vehicle!
3. Remove drivers side rear wheel
from vehicle.
4. Locate the rear trailing arm front
bracket. This is M-Force-Trailing-Arm-Bushing-Washer-Installation-Guide/' >located just forward
of the wheel well.
5. Using your scribe or magic
marker, trace around the RTAB bolts
marking their current position.
6. Remove the bracket holding the
brake line to the rear trailing arm.
This will allow the trailing arm to
droop without damaging the brake
lines.
*Note: Failure to remove this
bracket can lead to brake line
damage.

7. Using your floor jack, support the
rear trailing arm.
8. Remove the three (3) bolts holding
the front trailing arm bracket to the
vehicle.
9. Slowly lower the Rear Trailing Arm
and front bracket assembly using
your floor M-Force-Trailing-Arm-Bushing-Washer-Installation-Guide/' target='blank' class='doin' >jack.
10. Remove the bolt holding the rear
trailing arm into the bracket
assembly.
11. Remove the trailing arm from the
bracket assembly.
12. Insert one M-Force RTAB
Washer on each side of the rear
trailing arm busing with the concave
fitting over the dimple in the trailing
arm bracket.
13. Reinsert the trailing arm into the
bracket and install the bolt.
14. At this point, you will need to
align the bracket with the trailing
arm.
15. Torque the bolts securing the
trailing arm to the front bracket
using the torque specs provided
below:
Trailing arm to front bracket 81 ftlbs
16. Using your floor jack, raise the
trailing arm back into position and
loosely install the three (3) bolts
holding the front bracket to the
body.
17. Align the front bracket using the
lines you previously scribed on the
trailing arm bracket and torque
using the specs provided below:
Trailing arm front bracket to body
57 ft-lbs
18. Reinstall the lower shock bolt
using the torque specs provided
below:
Shock absorber to trailing arm 57
ft-lbs
19. Reinstall the bracket securing the
brake line to the rear trailing arm.
20. Repeat steps 3 through 23 for
the passenger side of the vehicle.

21. Reinstall your wheels and torque
the lug nuts
Road wheel to hub 74 - 78 ft-lbs.
22. Vorshlag Motorsports
recommends that you have your car
aligned by a reputable shop
immediately following installation.
23. You are now ready to enjoy your
M-Force Rear Trailing Arm Washer
kit!
