JMReadyBond is designed for adhering roofing insulation boards various substrates
as well as adhering boards to themselves. The tape should be applied 12 on-center

JMReadyBond is only to be used on 4 x 4 insulation boards and cannot be used
with Fesco
®
or DuraBoard
®
in cold applied systems. It should be applied in
temperatures of 35° F (2° C) and rising.

Description
Johns Manvilles JMReadyBond is a 100% solid polymer-
modified asphaltic adhesive designed for adhering roofing
insulation boards to each other and to a variety of sub-
strates, including concrete roof decks. JMReadyBond
is also suitable for sealing side laps of non-granulated
modified bitumen membranes in roofing applications
where open flames are prohibited.
Application
For best results JMReadyBond should be applied 12
(305 mm) o.c. to clean, dry, dust-free substrates 100
(30.5 m) lineal feet per roof square. It is necessary to
prime concrete decks before application of the tape.
JMReadyBond tape should be stored at temperatures in
excess of 50º F (10º C) before application for best results
and should be applied in temperatures of 35º F (2º C) and
rising. Once the release paper is removed from the tape,
insulation should be set in place within 15 minutes to
avoid contamination from dust or other airborne particles.

Factory Mutual Approvals are a consideration and when
used in a JM guarantee job, JMReadyBond is only for
use on 4 x 4 (1.22 m x 1.22 m) insulation boards.
Note:
When JMReadyBond is being applied in temperatures
of 85F (29C) and rising, it is recommended that the
release paper is removed within 15 minutets of the
tapes application to facilitate easy paper release.
