Mounting Instructions

Bolt on application
·
Mount the L shaped brackets onto the rear of the Bigfoot Jack using the supplied
7/16 x 1-3/4 bolts, using lock washers and nuts
·
Level trailer and support front of the trailer with jacks stands
·
Unbolt and remove existing jack
·
Set the Bigfoot jack temporarily to desired placement
Note: the ground clearance should be at least 8 from bottom of jack to ground
·
Mark placement of mounting holes on the channel
·
If existing holes in channel do not match the L bracket holes, drill holes in channel
using15/32 dill bit
·
Attach the Bigfoot jack to channel with supplied 7/16 bolts, using lock washers and
nuts (choose two of the four bolts supplied that meet the length requirements)

Weld on application

Level the trailer and support front of trailer with jack stands
·
If welding to existing jacks, retract jack fully; otherwise remove the jack
·
Mount supplied L brackets to the brackets on the back of the Bigfoot jack using the
supplied 7/16 x 1 ¾ bolts, using lock washers and nuts, adjusting width of the L to
allow the Bigfoot jack to fit the width of the existing jack or channel
·
Set the Bigfoot jack to the desired placement
Note: the ground clearance should be at least 8 from bottom of foot to ground
·
Run a continuous weld on all edges of each side of the L bracket that is in contract

·
Hydraulic jack requires 12 volt battery, make sure you use at least a 4ga battery
cable for the power to the jack
·
Remove plastic cover from pump assembly (if installed)
·
Mount weather proof switch box assembly in a convenient location making sure to
allow enough wire harness to reach the pump assembly
·
Most trailer have the battery mounted on the front of the trailer in a box, install the
supplied 80 amp breaker using the supplied self tapping screws between the leg
and the battery
·
Using the supplied battery cable, attach one end of the cable to the bottom solenoid
on the lug with the copper strip. Route the cable through the grommet holes in the
back of the pump, then attach the other end of the cable to the post on the breaker
marked AUX. then attach the other cable to the circuit breaker post marked BAT
and route the cable to the battery ( DO NOT CONNECT )
·
Route the harness from the switch box through the grommet on the back of the
pump. Connect the green wire with the white strip to the small post on the top
solenoid( make sure to use the crimp on push on connector that were supplied)
Then connect the solid green wore to the small post on the bottom solenoid. At this
point connect battery cable to the battery.
·
At this time you ill want to ad fluid to the pump ( red fill cap) make sure you fill the
tank so that the fluid is ¾ below the lip.
·
Then you must press the extend button and fully extend the jack until it reaches full
extension. Let it set this way for 30 minutes, this bleeds the air from the lines.
·
Once that is done lower jack back to normal height and install cover

in with your kit, there will also be a hole in the top of your pump that
you can put the bit into.
·
To retract or extend, use a drill with the bit in the top of the motor
·
This is not a fast procedure but it will extend or retract.
