OASIS
®
Growing Mediums are rigid, open-celled, water-absorbing foams
specically designed for optimal callus and rapid root development. Its
unique cell structure, which mimics the cellular structure of the plant itself,
provides outstanding performance. OASIS Growing Mediums are consis-
tent, with a low cation exchange capacity that allows for rapid nutrient
availability without danger of salt accumulation. When a grower receives
OASIS Growing Medium it is pathogen-free, providing an environment
which reduces disease and insect problems.
Available in various shapes and sizes to meet crop, labor and cost issues,
OASIS Growing Mediums are general purpose propagation mediums for

growing medium is manufactured in sheet form, with in-
dividual rooting cells shaped like cubes. Rootcubes are available in sheets
of various congurations or liners that t conveniently into a standard
1020 plastic tray. Crops most commonly propagated from unrooted cut-
tings in Rootcube media are poinsettias, geraniums, hibiscus, New Guinea
impatiens, fuchsia, foliage, perennials, and woody ornamentals.

growing medium tapers in shape from top to bottom.
This unique shape aids in directing root development downward for rapid
root development, resulting in greater crop turnover and overall productivity
for the grower. In transplanting, the Wedge product minimizes the need
for dibbling. Each cell is singulated, therefore there is no tangling of the
brous root systems. Products come preloaded in either a strip or tray and
are immediately ready to use by a grower upon receipt. This format is ideal
for automation and simplies the packaging and shipping process. Wedge
media comes in a wide variety of choices to suit many plant needs.
The OASIS
®
XP-System
®
offers high-density plant propagation resulting
in maximum productivity and prots. The smaller-sized cell format of the
XP-System is optimal for quick rooting of many small plant cuttings. The
26- or 52-cell count format works well for shipping many different varieties
of cuttings to one customer. In addition, the XP-System Sub-Irrigation Tray
makes transporting and water management extremely easy.
All OASIS Growing Mediums are evaluated against the HiQ500K qual-
ity program to assure optimum performance and reliability to the user.
Developed from more than 500,000 laboratory tests performed on OASIS
