gger wire on the 102153 Kit using a suitable
crimp tool.

You must remove the gray connector from the factory fuel pump
relay. Once you have identified the wires, find the Pink/Black
stripe wire in Cavity D. Cut this wire about 4 in. from the
connector, and tape the end that is in the wire harness. The other
end (relay side) must be attached to the ground. You can insert a
ring terminal on this wire and attach the ring terminal to a
suitable ground, such as the screw that holds the relay in place.

Doing this effectively causes the factory fuel relay to switch to ground (instead of switching to
positive) when the factory relay is energized. The switched ground then passes thru the factory
wiring harness and supplies a switched ground to Cavity C in the fuel tank plug. This is the trigger
to power the 102153 Relay System, which requires a negative trigger.

CAUTION: Do not use the original connection on the factory Oil Pressure
Switch. Be SURE this connector is not plugged in to any device. Also, be
sure the black connector with gray wire (located behind alternator) is not
attached to any device or connector.
