GOIN GREEN RACE PROMOTIONS AND CHERRY SPEEDWAY POLICY REGARDING USE OR POSSESSION OF
ILLEGAL DRUGS OR SUBSTANCES

1. ILLEGAL DRUGS DEFINITION: Illegal drugs are those substances defined and prohibited by state
and/or federal law.

2. GENERAL PROHIBITION: Possession or use of illegal drug substances as defined above is prohibited in
any form, by any participant at Cherry Speedway, either on the raceway grounds or in any area considered
to be used in the operation of the raceway, such as parking lots or leased properties.

3. PARTICIPANT DEFINITION: A participant is any person taking part in any event at Cherry Speedway in
any form, including but not restricted to drivers, car owners, mechanics, crew members, sponsors, track
officials or pit area observers. All such persons shall be considered public figures who have, by their own
choice, become involved in auto racing at Cherry Speedway, with the full understanding that he or she
must abide by the rules and regulations published or announced by Cherry Speedway. All participants are
considered to be responsible for their personal conduct.

4. VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES: Any person found to be in possession of or under the influence of an
illegal drug or drug substance on the Raceway property, as defined above, OR any person who is arrested
by duly-constituted authorities and charged with possession and/or use of illegal drugs or drug substance,
OR any person who is formally charged by a court of law with illegal drug violations, SHALL BE SUBJECT TO
THE FOLLOWING PENALTIES BY THE RACEWAY:
A: Suspension from competition and eviction from the Raceway property, and denial of further
entry to the Raceway for a period to be determined by the Raceway officials.
B: Any participant who is formally charged by a court of law with an illegal drug violation, upon
notification to Cherry Speedway management by the agency, shall be suspended from all forms of
participation at Cherry Speedway until such time as the charges are fully adjudicated through the
legal process. Any participant convicted of a formal drug charge by such process of law will be
prohibited from taking part in any Cherry Speedway events for a minimum period of one (1) year
from the date of conviction.

5. APPEAL AND HEARING: Any participant suspended for violation of these rules may be granted an
appeal hearing by a board of officials designated by Cherry Speedway, provided that the suspended
participant requests such a hearing, in writing, within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of
suspension. It is the responsibility of the suspended party to make the request if a hearing is desired.

6. REINSTATEMENT: A participant suspended for violation of these rules, EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF
PERSONS CHARGED WITH SELLING DRUGS, may as a result of a decision reached through the hearing
process detailed above, be reinstated, if it is mutually agreed that the participant, at his or her own
expense, will provide documentation from a physician licensed within the state, certifying that he or she is
drug independent, as a result of random and periodical examinations and urinalysis testing made at the
request of Cherry Speedway management.

7. PRESCRIBED DRUGS: If a participant is using prescribed drugs on the advice of a physician, such use
must be reported to the chief pit steward or racing director prior to the participants entry into any Raceway
activities. Failure to do so notify will subject participants to penalties as described above.

GENERAL TRACK RULES - (APPLIES TO ALL CLASSES)


1. Absolutely NO DRINKING of alcoholic beverages or use of any drug or controlled substance prior to or
during any events by anyone entering the pits or racing area. Anyone, in what is considered in the opinion
of the track officials and/or medical personnel, to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or
narcotics will be suspended.

2. Any driver who fails to obey any flag or track official will be promptly disqualified. No driver may get out
of his car on the track or infield to argue or discuss the race or a ruling with the starter or officials. If this
rule is violated, the driver may be suspended according to the decision of the officials for a minimum of
two (2) race nights (not including rain outs), possibly the rest of the season.

3. Any driver, car owner, pit crew member or sponsor who takes part in any demonstration or fight on the
track, in the pits or on Cherry Speedway premises, before, during or after the races shall be subject to
suspension. Until the suspension is lifted, no car will be permitted to compete if it is associated with the
suspended person or persons!! Abuse, Assault or Threat to do bodily injury to any track official or person
serving under his orders, by any driver, car owner, pit crew member or sponsor shall be grounds for
suspension. SUSPENSION MAY CAUSE YOU TO LOSE ALL POINTS ACCUMULATED TO THIS POINT AND ANY
PRIZE MONEY FOR THE NIGHT. Any suspension from an M.M.A. track or M.S.P.A. will be honored at Cherry
Speedway.

4. NO RACE WILL BE DELAYED FOR ANYONE WHO IS UNABLE TO GET THEIR CAR STARTED!!! Cars late for
line-up may be started at the rear of the field at the discretion of the official in charge, and providing the
field has not taken their first green flag.

5. BLACK FLAG: Any car being black flagged under green must leave the track. BLACK FLAG is for safety.
When you receive the black flag, drop out immediately and ask questions later. Any driver who intentionally
pushes, bumps or drives in a reckless or uncontrolled manner will be disqualified with the BLACK FLAG.

6. RED FLAG - STOP!! Then proceed with caution to the starting line if possible and get lined up ready for
the restart. Line up will be made form the last full lap completed. As long as the red flag is displayed any
car previously in that race may return to the track and restart at the rear of the field. No car will be allowed
to return to the track once the race has been restarted.

7. YELLOW FLAG CAUTION!! All cars must slow down and hold position, continue to run in a single file
line until the proper line up has been restored. Anyone pulling out of line unless instructed by an Official
will be sent to the back of the field. Cars bringing out the yellow will restart at the rear of the field. Line up
will be determined by the last full lap completed. Drivers must exercise caution at all times when driving in
the pits. Any driver failing to do so, will be disqualified from that race. As long as the yellow flag is displayed
any car previously in that race may return to the track and restart at the rear of the field. No car will be
allowed to return to the track once the race has been restarted. Reckless driving off track or in the pits will
be grounds for SUSPENSIONS. NO WARNINGS. Any car that brings out two (2) yellows in a feature must go
to the pits. Any car that brings out one (1) yellow in the heat races must go to the pits.

8. Any disagreement with officials will be discussed in an orderly manner after the race, only by the driver
or car owner and the official. Any crew member or spectator that intervenes will cause the car to be
disqualified for the remainder of the program. Physical or verbal abuse of any official will be cause for
SUSPENSION.

9. Mid-Season and Final Championship races will be lined up by points. Any driver not registered for points
will draw for heat race lineup and officials will use your finishing order in the heat race to determine your
starting position behind the drivers with points in the Semi-Feature or Feature depending on car count.

10. Points go to the driver. Any car moved to another class, either by officials or driver/owner will lose all
points. Once changed, no car may be returned to
