The Model E2A tester quickly locates worn or
cracked rings, a defective intake or exhaust
valve, scored or cracked cylinders, leaky head
gaskets, worn or stripped spark plug bushings,
etc. Eliminates guesswork by allowing you to
locate the exact location and cause of your en-
gines loss of efficiency. The Model E-2M dif-
ferential cylinder pressure tester, with a SLOW
FILL safety valve and built in Master Orifice, has been field tester for 2
years by Teledyne Continental Motors, and has been approved for use on
Teledyne Continental Engines by their Engineering and Field Services
Group. The new valving adds additional safety; speeds up the test
process. Rugged construction features heavy-duty gauges, extra long
high-pressure hose, precision regulator, all connections quick-disconnect,

MAGNETO P-LEAD TEST ADAPTER
The P-Lead Adapter allows connection of magneto
timer leads to Bendix aircraft magnetos with imme-
diate and positive connection. Eliminates fooling
with old P-leads that are stripped back and dan-

MAGNETO TIMING LIGHT
These devices measure the change in inductance in the magneto coil
when the points open
and close. Simply short-
ing the clip leads togeth-
er will not indicate a
point closing, therefore
eliminating any false
reading caused by loss
of contact to the magne-
to grounding terminal. To
use, simply remove one plug from each cylinder. Connect black clip
lead to engine ground. Connect red and green leads to right and left
magneto terminals. Turn propeller slowly. When the points open the
LEDs will turn off and the audio tweeter will sound. The magneto
connected to the red lead will sound a rapid beat and the magneto
connected to the green lead will sound a slower beat. When both
sets of points are open, a third and continuous sound will be emitted.
Adjust magneto timing accordingly. 100% solid state, compact 3/4" x
3" x 5" size, long battery life. Color coordinated leads are 4 ft. long.
