PS481000-5/100 is a multi-cabinet, high capacity power system, and can
provide up to 6000A for -48 VDC. This system is based upon HD48100-5 rectifier
module, which offers high power density, high efficiency, and accurate load
sharing between rectifier modules. The system is monitored and controlled
by PSM-A, which offers RS232 and dry contact interface and can connect with
modem or PSNA card to realize remote monitoring
PS481000-5/100 has separate distribution cabinets: PD380/400AFH-2 and
PD380/600AFH-2 are AC distribution cabinets; PD48/2000DF, PD48/2500DF and
PD481200BFH are DC distribution cabinets
P481000-5/100 is optimized for switching and transmission applications, and
a suitable choice for installation in regions with poor AC regulation. In addition,
there is AC surge protection device provided in the AC distribution cabinet

DC distribution cabinet is a stand-alone unit with two battery inputs. There are two types of DC
distribution cabinet, PD48/2000DF and PD48/2500DF. Battery current and total load current are
detectable and the system also has local monitor, providing RS485 to communicate with controller

AC Distribution Cabinet
AC distribution cabinet is a stand-alone unit with two AC mains inputs in manual switchover
mode. The mains power supply mode is 3 phase / 5 line. There are two types of AC distribution
cabinet, PD380/400AFH-2 and PD380/600AFH-2. Lighting and surge protection system is in-
tegrated
HD48100-5 Rectifier Module
The rectifiers are rated 100A and deliver 5800W at 54VDC. Each rectifier has adaptable power limiting
control mode to ensure sufficient output even when the input voltage is low. The rectifiers also have
advanced short circuit feedback protection. When output short circuit occurs, rectifier output current
will feed back to a 1/3 rated current. The rectifier uses analog current sharing technology. When the
monitoring module or a rectifier unit fails, the other rectifiers will maintain the current sharing function.
The rectifier has a built-in CPU for monitoring and controlling operation, and for communicating with
monitoring module as well. The rectifier is only of 2U high (88.8mm) and 19" wide. The power density

PSM-A Controller
PSM-A is a microprocessor based on monitoring and control unit that is used in PS481000-5/100 DC
power system. This unit has been specifically developed to provide DC power system with monitoring,
management and indication. LCD front display and keyboard provide the system with operational
condition, setting and control. RS232 provides connectivity for remote monitoring via modem or
PSNA card; meanwhile, dry contact provides remote alarms for the system. Multi-level password
access is provided for safety operation
