The FlatPak
TM
Series includes 28 VDC and 400 Hz con vert ers
designed for installation where space is limited. The units mount
at against a wall, and offer the smallest size to power-rating
ratio in the industry.
The output power rating for the 28 VDC FlatPak
TM
Power Sys tem
is 600 amps continuous and 2000 amps start current. The unit is
equipped with automatic line drop compensation to allow the use
of cables up to 60 feet in length without reducing the voltage at
the cable head. In addition, the FlatPak
TM
power sys tem meets
all Na tion al Elec tric Code (NEC) requirements for op er a tion with in
a hangar en vi ron ment.
In addition to xed equipment, Unitron offers 400 Hz, 28 VDC and
com bi na tion AC/DC units in mobile and towable con g u ra tions.
