Lamp Models
Photopia customers or lamp manufacturers may purchase our services for building lamp models. The lamp modeling cost depends on the lamp type since different types of lamps require different amounts of work. Lighting Technologies, Inc. (LTI) retains the rights to the lamp models created for generally available lamps. Thus, these lamp models may be distributed in the general lamp library at the discretion of LTI. Proprietary lamp models can be created as well for a slightly higher fee. Proprietary lamps are lamps that your company manufactures for your own use only. In order to construct a lamp model, we require physical samples of the lamp, control gear and lamp holders. Photometry prices may be higher for lamps with unique operating requirements such as those of very high wattage or very high UV content.
