Specications
The Back Cove story began in 2003 when Back Cove Yachts and
the design team from sister company, Sabre Yachts, collaborated
to create and introduce a simple but elegant power boat line
in a 30 foot size range, answering concerns from dealers
and owners that too many companies were designing
increasingly larger boats. The styling was to be reminiscent
of the Maine lobster boat: a spoon bow, a gently sloped
reverse transom and a touch of tumblehome in the
topsides were blended to create a striking and elegant
style. From the practical perspective, systems were
to be simple and efcient to minimize the cost of
ownership. A single diesel engine propulsion system
was chosen and for maneuverability in tight spaces a
bow thruster was made standard.
The success of the brand is now well known and the
popularity of the Back Cove 26s and 29s continues to
increase with each hull commissioned. More than 165
Back Cove hulls have been built to date and have been
shipped throughout the United States and Canada
and as far as Europe and Australia.
We look forward to showing you the Back Cove 33.

ack Cove Yachts proudly announces the new Back Cove 33,
the largest yacht in the Back Cove range. With input from
our current boat owners and potential 33 buyers, we believe
that we have created a yacht which offers tremendous
value, great style and modern practicality.
Below deck is a large and comfortable vee-berth, L-settee
with pilot berth above, and a head with stall shower.
On the helm deck, a full galley stretches out aft of the
helm seat and to port is a dinette where four adults
can sit and enjoy a meal. The inlaid table is a ne
example of the Maine boat builders craftsmanship
and tradition, evident also throughout the Back Cove
33. Forward of the dinette, a double mates seat is a
comfortable perch for the navigator. The helm deck is
airy and bright with overhead hatches, opening side
windows and a center opening windshield.
In her cockpit a large bench seat allows comfortable
lounging while underway or when anchored in a
peaceful cove. Engine access is extraordinary, as the
helm deck including the port side dinette raises to
expose the yachts mechanical systems.
