was founded back in 1996, a lot of
people couldnt believe we were devoting our careers
to the truck bed cover industry; truck bed covers were
not as popular back then, so why specialize in it?
Quite frankly, the truck accessory market is very
competitive. Most companies are unwilling or unable
to dig deep enough to truly grasp the complexities of
designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing a
retractable truck bed cover. We take pride in our
company's reputation for providing the most innovative

availability. Weve spent over a decade focused on
nothing else; and well confess we love what we do.
Not just because were a bit techy. Not just because
we thrive on the disciplines of designing, developing
and manufacturing. Mostly its because we take great

We have experienced steady growth over the years
and we expect this growth to continue. In December of
2003 we moved from our 10,000 square foot home of
three years to our new home of 20,000 square feet.
Currently this facility houses our corporate offices and
production areas. In November of 2005 we moved our
finished parts, assembly, shipping and storage areas
to our 24,000 square foot facility. These expansions
(within two years) have allowed us to work more
efficiently and to meet the increasing demand for

is unique because it is manufactured from polycarbonate, a durable thermoplastic commonly
known as LEXAN®. Sealed ball-bearing rollers mounted onto aluminum support beams allows the cover to
retract or close easily without the use of springs, pull straps, Velcro or snaps; the cover is also key lockable in
any position along the rail. This patented low profile design incorporates a front cover that is flush with the
rolling cover, which streamlines the overall appearance and provides a firm, dependable seal to help keep the

Spiral Storage Canister
Unique Product Spiral Track Storage Canister
One Piece Polycarbonate (LEXAN ®) Design


A durable thermoplastic commonly known as LEXAN ®. This rigid, one-piece sheet is engineered to retract
without joints or hinges that can trap dust, wear out or freeze.


Unique Spiral Track Storage Canister


A unique spiral track storage canister that prevents the bed cover from rubbing on itself as it retracts and
closes; this eliminates wear-and-tear on the cover. No moving parts to jam, freeze or fail.


Engineered Tough


Polycarbonate has excellent impact resistance and is unaffected by temperatures from -50 to +200 degrees F. The
cover is

strong enough to stand on (not recommended) and remains stable and quiet at highway speeds.


Sealed Ball-bearing Rollers


Sealed ball-bearing rollers mounted onto each end of the aluminum support beams allow the cover to retract or
close easily with just one hand. Anti-bind ball-bearings mounted horizontally prevent the cover from binding as
it is opened or closed.


Key Lockable In Any Position Along The Rail


Cover can be key locked in any position along the rail. Unlike toppers or lift-up fiberglass lids, the

wont obstruct your cargo area when you need it most. The tailgate works independently of the rolling cover.


Installation


The
RETRAX

is a clamp on design; the only tools required for installation are a 9/16 wrench and a Philips
screwdriver.

The cover installs without drilling in approximately 1 hour using four clamps.


Lock Handle


The flush-mounted lock handle is located at the rear on the drivers side. Simply release the latch with the touch
of a button and the cover glides out of your way easily using just one hand.


Weather Protection


The
RETRAX

low-profile patented design incorporates a front cover that is flush with the rolling cover; this
streamlines the overall appearance and provides a firm, dependable seal to help keep the bed dry. This
design keeps water, snow, ice and dust out of the bed and moving parts, utilizing automotive grade weather strip
designed for harsh outdoor use. Installed drain tubes remove moisture that may accumulate in the canister. The
cover is UV protected for years of protection against the sun.

A durable thermoplastic commonly known as LEXAN® that is
UV treated for protection from the sun.

Vinyl glued or stapled to aluminum slats.
Strength

The cover is reinforced with up to 20 tempered aluminum
support beams embedded every 4 3/4, which will hold 200 lbs.
and can easily support heavy snow loads. The cover is strong
enough to stand on (not recommended).

The cover will withstand a concentrated load of about 120
pounds. A light snow load is tolerated.
Sealed Ball-bearing Rollers

Forty (40) sealed ball-bearing rollers mounted onto each end of
the aluminum support beams allow the cover to retract or close
easily without the use of springs or any kind of mechanism.
Anti-bind ball-bearings mounted horizontally prevent the cover
from binding as it is opened or closed.
Wear Strip

Top and bottom rail wear strips.

Spring Loaded Drum

Cover rolls up on top of itself on a spring loaded drum similar to
a window shade.
Lockable In Any Position Along The Rail

Cover can be latched or key locked in any position along the
rail. Tailgate works independently of the rolling cover.
Locking Positions Every 12

Intermittent locking positions every 12 inches. Tailgate works
independently of the rolling cover.
Lock Handle

The flush-mounted lock handle, located at the rear on the
drivers side, provides easy access when opening and closing the
cover.
Pull Strap

Reach to the center of the cover and grab a tow strap, walk to the
back of the truck and pull the cover back
Tailgate Area

utilizing an automotive grade weather strip seal.
