Intersils Applications Support web page, at www.intersil.com/design, should be your first stop
when trying to find the critical design support you need. This page puts you one click away from
our Applications Support staff or any of our interactive, online design tools.
Ask Our Staff, is a quick and efficient way to post any question, document, picture or schematic
to our Applications Support team. This interface not only allows you to post a question, but allows
you to search Intersils entire FAQ Knowledge Base. Information in the knowledge base of FAQs
spans all Intersil product families and is available 24x7x365 days a year.
The Applications Support page also contains links to all of Intersils Design Tools and Support,
including Application Block Diagrams, Design Models, Document Library, Engineering
Resources page, iSim Online Design Simulation, Packaging Information and Product
Cross Reference tool.
iSim Online Design Simulation Tool
Intersils iSim is an interactive, web-based tool for selecting and simulating devices from Intersils
broad portfolio. Based on input and output specifications provided by the user, iSim will find all
suitable Intersil devices for your application. In many cases, a simulation is also made available
for immediate feedback on circuit performance. Currently, iSim is available for Intersils power
management devices and operational amplifiers. Visit www.intersil.com/isim and select either
the Operational Amplifier or Power Management iSim icon for more information.
For those who need this type of tool, but cant always be connected to the internet, we offer
iSim:PE. This free download delivers the same functionality, but as a stand-alone application on
your windows-based PC.
Application Block Diagrams
Intersils Application Synergy Program emphasizes Intersils leadership in both power
management and analog signal processing devices by demonstrating the platform-wide
coverage Intersil provides. The result of this program are a series of basic representations of
application block diagrams that highlight the depth and breadth of Intersils supported functions
within an application. There are approximately 76 block diagrams available, in the areas of
computing, consumer electronics, commercial/industrial, display, medical, networking, and
security. Each application block diagram shows the latest entire system function design with
highlighted boxes to show Intersil supported function. Just click on the red blocks to see a list of
recommended parts from Intersil.

Intersils Design Models page features a full range of simulation resources, including IBIS,
SPICE, Macro and Saber Models. These models enable convenient access to performance
characteristics of many of our devices. There are several ways to find the models you need at
Intersils website. This library, with hundreds of models, is sorted by product family with
convenient bookmarks for Amplifier/Buffers, Switching Regulation, Broadband, Communication
ICs, Data Converters, Display ICs, Intelligent Power, Interface ICs, Video ICs, Microcontrollers,

Use Intersils Product Cross Reference tool to find the perfect Intersil replacement part. Select a
