Birns & Sawyer Lighting & Grip
specializes in complete grip truck and lighting
production packages as well as portable lighting
kits and accessories.
Established in 1977 as Gunner Lighting, the
company merged with Birns & Sawyer in 1998 to
compliment camera rentals from the Hollywood
location.
Birns & Sawyer Lighting has developed a
unique inventory of lights, trucks, dollies, jibs and
accessories for professionals, emerging lmmakers
and students alike. As production becomes more
fast paced and exible, the equipment available
has also become lighter and more efficient.
Birns & Sawyer caters to efcient productions with
pre-loaded Grip Trucks from 14 to 20 in length.
An extensive inventory of portable lighting kits
makes production quicker and more exible.
Recently added to the rental inventory is the line
of Losmandy Porta-Jibs. These lightweight jib arms
are suitable for cameras from Mini DV up to 35mm.
Birns & Sawyer also provides complete dolly and
generator rentals to ll all of your production needs
with one phone call. If you have a special require-
ment, Birns & Sawyer Lighting will customize
a package to t your requirements.
