GSM Voice Messaging System & Calling Features
Voice Messaging offers you a complete answering system that allows you to retrieve messages from any
phone, anywhere, 24 hours a day. When you have messages waiting, you will hear short bursts of dial tone
when you pick up your telephone handset prior to making or receiving a call. Please refer to your GSM
wireless phone manufacturers user guide to determine what type of voice mail icon or message waiting
indicator will display on your particular phone when you have received a voice message.

GSM Voice Mail Set Up:
To Set Up:
Press and hold 1 key.
When Voice Message system answers press 9999#
Tutorial will start and explain how to set up security
code and greeting.
To Retrieve Voice Mail From GSM Phone:
Press and hold 1 key.
When Voice Message system answers; enter new
security code followed by the #.
Press 1 to listen to message.
Press 5 to delete message.
To Retrieve voice Mail from Landline Phone:
Dial phone number, wait for recording. During
recording press * and enter security code to access
voice mail.
Press1 to listen.
Press 5 to delete.
To retrieve your messages when traveling outside of
XITs coverage area, dial 806-527-MAIL (6245).
If you should have any questions, please call the
Customer Care Center nearest you, or call
1-800-232-3312, or dial 611 SEND on your
wireless phone if you are within XIT Wirelesss home
coverage area.
Call Waiting
This feature gives you the advantage of a second line
without additional cost. Two short tones signal that a
second party is trying to reach you while you are on
a call.
To answer the incoming call:
1. Press SEND. This puts the original call on hold and
connects you to the second party.
2. Press SEND again to return to original party. You
can switch back and forth between the two calls by
pressing the SEND key.
Call Forwarding GSM Wireless
This feature allows all calls to be immediately
forwarded to a predetermined number you have
programmed to accept all calls.
To activate Call Forwarding:
1. Press *21*.
2. Dial 1 plus the 10-digit number the calls are to be
forwarded to followed by the #.
3. Press SEND.
To deactivate Call Forwarding:
1. Press ##21#.
Three-Way Calling Conferencing
This feature lets you add a party to an existing call.
You can talk to two parties at the same time
whether its a local or long distance call. When you
terminate the call, all parties will be disconnected.
To activate Three-Way Calling: (GSM)
The activation process for this GSM calling feature is
specific to the make and model of your phone. Check
the manufacturers user guide that came with your
phone for details.
Caller ID
This feature displays the telephone number of
incoming callers before you answer the phone and
keeps a list of missed calls. To access these functions,
check the manufacturers user guide that came with
your phone. Features and access to Caller ID differ
between brands and models of phones.
