Breece Hill L.L.C. Limited Warranty
Breece Hill L.L.C. (Breece Hill) warrants this unit against defects in material or workmanship as follows:
Labor:
Breece Hill 8-PAK, 16-PAK, and 10-PAK units come with a three year advance replacement war-
ranty that begins on the original ship date. If the unit is determined to be defective, Breece Hill will repair or
replace the unit, as its option, at no charge, or pay the labor charges to any Breece Hill authorized service
facility. After the Warranty Period, labor charges are the responsibility of the consumer.
1.
Parts:
In addition, Breece Hill will exchange manufacturers defective parts for new, or
refurbished replacements, at no charge, for a period of three (3) years.
2.
Non-Functional Unit:
In the unlikely event that a customer receives a unit that is out-of-the-
box defective, a Breece Hill Technical Services Representative, after discussing the nature of the
problem and if the problem cannot be resolved, will assign a Return Material Authorization (RMA)
number to replace the unit.
3.
Warranty Service:
The replacement unit will be shipped within two (2) business days if the
order is received by 2pm MST, or International 2 pm GMT. The customer is responsible to return
the original unit, freight prepaid using the packaging, which the unit arrives in or the original
packaging. Damage due to improper, or inadequate, packaging or failure to install ship locks
voids the warranty. If the unit is repairable then the customer will be billed for all charges for the
repair. If the unit is not repairable then the customer will be invoiced for a new unit. Place the
Breece Hill-assigned RMA number on the outside of the box and also inside the box, with an
explanation of the problem.
4.
Warranty Disclaimer:
This Warranty does not cover damage due to acts of God, accident,
misuse, abuse, negligence, improper packaging or modification to any part of the library,
including the accessories. This warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation or
maintenance, connection to improper power supply or attempted repair by person(s) or facilities
unauthorized by Breece Hill to service or upgrade the library. This warranty does not cover
consumables such as cables, fuses or media.
This warranty is void if the factory-applied serial number or tamper proof seal has been
altered or removed from the unit.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
OF THE CONSUMER. BREECE HILL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSE-
QUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS UNIT.
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MER-
CHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS UNIT IS LIMITED IN DURATION
TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

tions on how long an implied warranty lasts, therefore, the above limitation or exclusions may not apply. In
addition, extended service contracts with Breece Hill, or an authorized Breece Hill service facility, will affect
the limitation on an implied warranty accordingly. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may
