Console Series 16 27
Severe Service Aluminum Workboats

1. DESIGN

The Workskiff Console model is a rugged and durable console-helm work vessel
designed to meet the demanding needs of military, commercial and rugged
recreational users. It can be outfitted with either a 24 or 36 console helm that can
be positioned forward or aft on the centerline or at the side, to accommodate the
operators working requirements. Configuration may vary based on individual needs;
each boat can be outfitted with a console, tempered glass windshield and side
windows, leaning box seat, heavy duty cleats non-slip deck surface, 12Vdc electrical
system, navigation lights and a 4 stroke outboard engine. Additionally, optional tow
posts, engine and rope guards, additional on deck storage, D rubber guard rail and
electronics are available. The Console Series is field-tested and a proven performer.

All Workskiff boats are Naval Architect designed to exceed U.S. Coast Guard
standards. The bottoms, sides and transom are continuously welded on both sides
for strength. Full-length longitudinal girders are welded to the inside of the hull to
provide additional structural strength and rigidity and the hull is filled with
polystyrene foam for buoyancy and floatation. The deck floor is fully welded and
scuppers are added above the water line at the transom for water drainage.

The result is a rugged, self-bailing, virtually unsinkable hull with a clean exterior
design and optimal fuel efficiency.

2. QUALITY & WORKMANSHIP

Workskiff was established in 1989 with the mission to build the strongest severe-
service workboats in the industry. Throughout the years we have built more than
500 boats for organizations like the US Navy, Shell Oil, Sirius Maritime, SEAPRO,
NOAA and the California Department of Fish & Wildlife. We go to great lengths to
craft a work vessel to meet our customers demanding needs so they can focus on
doing whats important to themwhether responding to oil spill clean-up, conducting
research, providing homeland security or accessing a remote cabin in Alaska.

Each vessel is constructed in our Burlington, WA facility under rigorous quality
controls to ensure they meet or exceed U.S. Coast Guard inspected and American
Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) standards.

Our welders are required to pass rigorous testing and adhere to all current safety
standard in the construction of boats and the handling of hazardous material. All
plate material is precision cut by state-of-the-art computer controlled plasma or
router cutters to insure the highest level of accuracy and consistency.

All equipment, materials and facilities conform to generally accepted marine industry
practices for boat manufacturing and diligent care is taken to ensure they are
handled properly.

6. PROPULSION PACKAGE

Workskiff boats are powered by single or twin outboard engines. We generally outfit
our boats with Honda, Yamaha, Mercury or Evinrude engines.

7. ENGINE CONTROLS AND STEERING SYSTEM

Instrumentation & Controls:
Instrumentation gauges are selected and installed based on original equipment
manufacturer (OEM) specifications depending on the engine type requested. Top
mounted binnacle or side-mounted controls are provided.

Positioning:
All controls, instruments, gauges and switches are mounted for ease of operation
and observation from the pilots normal operating position. Page 4

Steering:
No feedback mechanical steering is installed on hull lengths 16 - 21 unless
otherwise requested. Tele-flex hydraulic steering is outfitted on 23 - 27 hulls.

8. FUEL SYSTEM

All 19 27 models come equipped with enclosed baffled aluminum fuel tanks. The
system includes stainless steel fittings through out, A1 fuel hose, a fuel manifold
system and RACOR fuel filter and water separator. The fuel tanks are accessible
through an aft hatch door for servicing and a deck soft patch.

16 models come equipped with a six (6) gallon on deck fuel tank, A1 fuel hose and
an in-line RACOR fuel filter and water separator.

9. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The Console Series is outfitted with a 12Vdc electrical system and a Dyno group 24
battery, a battery box, six (6) breaker Blue Sea waterproof breaker panel, and
engine and house circuit breakers. We exclusively use marine grade copper wire and
cabling with tin coating throughout our system for the highest level of corrosion
resistance and performance.

All electrical components are protected with circuit breakers instead of fuses to
ensure that simple fuse outages dont render a vessel inoperable. Additional circuit
breaks can be added to accommodate electronic options.

10. SEATING AND STORAGE CONFIGURATION

Each
console series boat comes configured with a center console, a cushioned
leaning box seat and a cushioned deck storage box seat fore of the console.
However, seating and storage configurations, and console placement are primarily
driven by the needs of the operator and crew. Therefore, we consult with our
customers on seat selection, deck layout and storage options in order to maximize
the efficiency of the deck space to meet individual work requirements.

We stock, Bentley, Garelick and Todd pedestal seats and cushions and we custom
build different size box storage seats or leaning box seat and cushions.

Whatever, the need we can build it.

11. ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

Workskiff installs a variety of different electronic equipment including VHF radios,
GPS, radar, sounders, and hailers. Page 5
