Introduction
The USBee DX Test Pod is a powerful embedded
tool in one compact and easy to use pod.
Combined with the Windows® software the USBee
DX Pod has the following features:
16 digital channels
2 analog channels
Oscilloscope / Logic Analyzer
Digital Voltmeter
Signal Generator (optional)
USB, I2C, CAN, SPI, 1-Wire, I2S, PS/2,
SMBus and Async bus decoders
USBee DX Toolbuilder source code

The USBee DX System
The USBee DX System consists of the USBee DX
pod connected to your Windows® 2000, XP or
Vista PC through the USB cable, and to your circuit
using the multicolored test leads and clips. Once
connected and installed, the USBee DX Windows
Software can provide each of the various test
functions.
The USBee DX System is also expandable by
simply adding more USBee DX pods for more
channels.

Setting Up Software Installation
1.
Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2.
From the Start|Run Windows® menu, run
the SETUP.EXE on the CD.
3.
Follow the instructions on the screen to
install the USBee DX software on your hard
drive. This may take several minutes.
4.
Now, plug the USBee DX USB cable into a
free USB 2.0 port on your computer. The
pod will only work on USB 2.0.
5.
You will see a dialog box indicating that it
found new hardware and is installing the
software for it. Follow the on screen
directions to finish the driver install. This
step 5 happens two times
6.
You can now run the new USBee DX
software from the Start|Programs|USBee
DX menu.
