Retirement: Dennis Wiess, School Social Worker, effective June 30, 2008.
Resignation: Judy Van Horn, School Bus Attendant, effective March 29, 2008; Cheryl Phillips, Substitute
Monitor, effective March 13, 2008; Merrie Walsh, School Monitor, effective March 31, 2008.

Instructional Appointments:
Part-Time: Lynn Miller, (.5) Teacher Aide, effective April 21, 2008 and terminating April 21, 2009.

2007-2008 Budget Transfers: Approved as presented.
Bid Award Roof Repairs: Awarded bid to Jameson Roofing at a cost not to exceed $17,270.00.
Athletic Department Payment to Vendors: Approved as presented.
2008-2009 School Calendar: Approved Regional Calendar (split week) Option 3 2008-2009 School Calendar.
Addendum to Contract - Languatek: Approved addendum to 2007-2008 contract with Languatek for
translation services for ESL families as presented.
Donation Spruce Home School Association: Accepted donation of miniature golf equipment and putting
greens with an approximate value of $400.00 to be used at Spruce School.
Donation Mr. & Mrs. John Mullins: Accepted donation of a used chair with an approximate value of $300.00
and a used entertainment center with an approximate value of $150.00 for Spruce School.
Donation University of NY at Buffalo National Honor Society: Accepted donation of a spaghetti dinner with
an approximate value of $500.00 and books with an approximate value of $1,000.00 for Spruce School students
and families.
Changes to B.A.S.E. Rules and Regulations: Approved changes as presented.

Special Board Meeting April 23, 2008: Established April 23, 2008 at 7:00 a.m. as a Special Meeting for the
purpose of voting on the Orleans/Niagara BOCES Administrative Budget and election of Orleans/Niagara
BOCES board members.
Memorandum of Agreement Service Learning Program Grades 9-12: Approved as presented.
Policy & Procedures: Cell Phone Policy Revision Second Reading.
