P R E A M B L E

Ujjain has
been a seat of learning since time immemorial. Lord Krishna underwent
his education at Sant Sandipanis Ashram here on the banks of river
Kshipra.Vikram University was established here in 1954. Presently this
city has number of schools and colleges including professional colleges.

We established an ideal Medical College at Ujjain
in the year 2001. For running a good Medical College with high academic
standards and for providing excellent medical education, a good modern
hospital equipped with sophisticated diagnostic & therapeutic equipments
is a pre-requisite. We commissioned a good modern hospital the Ujjain
Charitable Trust Hospital with sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic
equipments thirteen years back. The hospital is having 350 beds. We
have also built another 570 beded hospital in the Medical College Campus
where all the services are provided free. We are proud that we are providing,
as envisaged standard medical education to the students. First batch
of students has already passed out with flying colours.

BLESSINGS

A dedicated team of trustees visualised and launched the Medical College
project in 1997 and have succeeded in establishing the College. Ours
is the first private Medical College in M.P.

It is the only private medical college in M.P. which is recognised
by Govt. of India & Medical Council India.

Our aim is to provide best medical education to students, expose them
to renowned national and international faculty, motivate them for research,
and make them competent clinicians who can meet the challenge of treatment
in the remotest village of India as well as the most advanced hospital,
any where in the world.

We are confident that our college will soon rank as one of the best,

FROM THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dear Students,

We have established a new Medical College in M.P. after a long waiting
period of nearly forty years. Our aim is to provide excellent medical
education.

An amalgam of four factors make a good medical college -

(1)�Highly qualified, dedicated, experienced student oriented faculty.

(2)�A modern hospital having excellent therapeutic and diagnostic facilities
catering to a large population of patients covering practically every
kind of disease so that the students are well versed in the art and
science of medicine.

(3)�A sound financial support as the medical college project involves
a layout of about Rs. Ninety Three Crores.

(4)�Affiliation with world renowned institutions for research and development.

Fortunately we have all the four factors -

A faculty as described above, well established 350 bedded Ujjain Charitable
Trust Hospital & Research Centre & 570 bedded C.R.Gardi Hospital.
We have already built up a huge infrastructure as per the norms of MCI
and more over we have a sound financial support from various donors
and affiliation with world famous Karolinska Institute of Sweden, Bergen
University Norway, Nordic School of Public Health, Goteburg and also
other few world recognised institutions & authorities in the field
of medical sciences.

MEDICAL� COLLEGE

Our Medical College is the first private medical
college of M.P. and was established in 2001 and is fully recognised
by the Medical Council of India which is the apex central statutory
body controlling medical education in India and Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare, Govt. of India. We are the first and only private medical
college in M.P. to receive this honour. It is affiliated to Vikram University,
Ujjain which is the prestigious and oldest University of M.P. This is
in a way an acknowledgement of the excellent educational facilities
available with us in this college. We have acquired 73 acres of sprawling
land where all the facilities of the college are made available. The
bewitching and tranquil surroundings here are conducive for learning.

The college is situated just on the outskirts of Ujjain city in a
sprawling campus of 73 acres spaced within beautiful gardens. The facilities
are housed in various buildings having a built up area of nearly 9,50,000
square feet.

The educational facilities available here include
well equipped laboratories in the basic medical subjects, including
non-clinical, para-clinical and clinical subjects. We also have demonstration
rooms and lecture theatres with audio/visual equipments which are used
for giving training to the students in all subjects. Every department
in the college has its own museum with provisions for self-instruction
in the subjects.

Our faculty is quite large which includes experienced,
dedicated and student oriented teachers. It is with a sense of modesty
we claim that we have in our faculty some of the best teachers whose
expertise and skills are nationally acknowledged. In professional education
