Program Objective
Provide Demand Savings to our business, farm and
institutional customers through the provision of
aggressive incentives for the purchase of Energy
Efficient Technologies
Provide Hydro One Network customers with the
tools to cost effectively manage their electricity bills
Increase market transformation of key EE
Technologies
Create greater awareness of EE Technologies by
leveraging various delivery channels
Delay the need for costly investments in new
generation and transmission facilities
Reduce the existing fleet of generation facilities that
contribute to global warming and poor air quality
Fixed and Custom Incentives
1. Fixed Incentives (Specific Incentives for predefined
technology)
Lighting, Transformers, Unitary A/Cs, Premium Efficiency
Motors, Agriculture Technology
$250 minimum incentive motors excepted
Customers can obtain pre-approval or submit invoices for
prescriptive measures after installation, however applicants
take risk of incentive budget being depleted
2. Custom Incentives (Energy Efficient Technologies
not covered in prescriptive technologies requires
review and approval by Hydro One)
Customer Projects can include other technology or specific
items not covered the prescriptive list.
Examples include:
Upgrade of refrigeration equipment or
Installation of lighting not covered in prescriptive list
such as 3 foot T8 lighting
10 kW minimum (5kW for lighting projects)

Application Processing and Details
All applications screened for accuracy and basic eligibility
Custom incentives are reviewed by third-party consultants for
eligibility
Pre-Approval holds funds for 90 days unless otherwise stipulated

Incentives paid to Hydro One customer only (i.e. no assignment)
All applications for pre-approval are due May 31, 2007
Installations must be complete by August 15, 2007
Claim forms must be mailed within 30 days of installation
Hydro One reserves the right to verify installation before funds are
released
Minimum application of $250 (except for motors) to a maximum
incentive level of $50,000 per account
