rant, Dual AC Input Source, Single Phase power controller designed for
large rackmount installations requiring high current, dual AC source input. The Hot-Swap modules
allow for failure replacement without bringing the system down. Each independent AC input is routed
through the Hot-Swap module where circuit breaker protection, line filtering, MOV protection and
optional, power up, sequencing is housed. Each drawer then delivers AC power to half of the
receptacles on the rear of the unit. This unit should be utilized where N+1 Power Supplies are used,
offering two power cords for each device installed in the rack mounted system.
The optional power up sequencing allows the user to set a delay of from 5-50 seconds between the
initial power up of half of that modules receptacles and the remaining receptacles. These units may
be controlled remotely utilizing ground closure contacts and daisy chain delayed output of from 1-10
seconds may be set to progressively start up and sequence additional enclosures.
The PT630 is a breakthrough in power control design and is really two 24 Amp controllers (30A max)
in one 2U chassis. It may be conventionally rackmounted or an optional mounting kit may be ordered
that allows the units to be vertically mounted in the rear of an enclosure which saves front vertical
mounting area for needed equipment. The unit is available in either 100-120VAC or 200-240VAC
configurations and has worldwide recognized safety agency approvals.
