Sealed tenders are invited in two parts for Renewal and servicing / repairing of
Power line Distribution System through 1530 KVA 6 KV / 850V Transformer at Nazirgunge
Works:

Scope of Work :
As per Annexure I

Offers are to be submitted in two parts as follows:-

Part I :
To contain Technical Scope of the work, completion time, applicable taxes, terms of payment,
acceptance of L.D. & R.P.Clause etc.

Part II : Only Price ( with break up)

Both Part I & II under separate cover duly marked and sealed has to be submitted under one
cover superscribing the tender enquiry number and due date of submission. Tenders are to be
submitted in the Tender Box within due date of submission. Tenders received late shall not be
entertained.

Subject : Repair, servicing and commissioning of Electrical Power Line Distribution System
through 1530 KVA 6KV/850V Transformer, at NW.

SCOPE OF WORK for the job to be carried out :

1.
Necessary checking, servicing, repairing (if any) including safety devices along with
Filteration of oil to make operational the 6KV oil circuit breaker and commissioning of the same.

2.
Repairing/renewal of the existing damaged HT (10 mtrs. Length approx.) PLC Type 11
KV Cable outgoing from the 6 KV OCB to 1530 KVA Transformer, with allied job including
conducting HV test of cable on completion of HT Termination and Reconnection to
Transformer. Related TC to be submitted by the Party.

3.
Necessary checking, servicing/repairing (if any) including safety devices and filteration
of oil of 1530 KVA 6KV/ 850V Transformer for trouble free functioning of the same.

4.
Checking, servicing, repair (if any) of 800 amps. Capacity circuit breaker, make ABB for
1000 V operational voltage for 500 KVA 850/415 volts Transformer.

5.
Necessary checking, servicing/repairing (if any) including safety devices and filteration
of oil of 500 KVA 850V/415V Tansformer for smooth functioning.

6.
Checking, servicing, repair(if any) of 1000 amps. Manual Drawout type 4 Pole 415 volts
ACB panel for 500 KVA 850 V/415V Transformer.

7.
Filteration of Transformer oil and submission of Test Report from Government approved
laboratory for acidity and dielectric strength of oil for 2 nos. Transformer i.e. (i) 1530 KVA
6KV/850V and (ii) 500 KVA 850V/415V and 6 KV OCB respectively.

8.
Checking of all cables at its Incoming and Outgoing section for insulation test and
checking and measurement of earthing system of HT OCB 1530 KVA Transformer, 1000 volts
ACB, 500 KVA Transformer and 1000 amps. LT ACB and submission of test reports
accordingly.

9.
Commissioning of the electrical power line arrangement through 1530 KVA
Transformer.

10.
A guarantee period of 12 months should be provided by the Party for the above work.

1.

3.
Quotation to be submitted in SEALED COVER with Enq. No. & Last Date of submission
clearly marked on the cover.
4. Any quotation delivered to us after the last date of submission will not be considered.
5.
Please give Quotation ONLY on the basis of unit/lump sum mentioned in the Enquiry
6.
Quotation may be rejected if there is any over writing IN THE Offer without any signature.
7.
All the statutory rules have to be complied with as per law of the land.
8.
Management reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason
thereof.
9.
Job should be done at per direction of the Hd(P&M) or his authorized representative.
10. Liquidated Damage: Liquidated Damage @ 0.5% per week or part thereof, subject to a
maximum of 5% of the value of the order would be charged in case of your failure to execute
the job within the period, to be mutually agreed upon.
11. Risk Purchase Clause: In case of non-execution of the order by you, we would be free to
execute the job from other sources at your risk & cost which will be recovered from you.
12. In case of any dispute the decision of our Chairman and Managing Director of HDPEL
would be final and binding on both the parties.
13. In case of Legal Dispute, the same would be subject to the jurisdiction of Calcutta High
Court.
14. Party may send their representative to HDPEL-NW for assessing the job before submitting
their final offer. In this regard, party should contact Hd(P&M)-NW or his authorized
representative from Monday to Friday between 10 a.m to 4 p.m. by 17.04.2008.
15. Any other job if required for completion of work and commissioning the above power line
system will be part SOW.
16. Necessary tools and tackles, test apparatus, consumable items to be provided the party.
17. All related authentic test certificates and Guarantee Certificates for the job to be provided by
the Party.
18. Party to submit a list of required spares / materials through a joint Inspection by P&M
Department and QC Department along with the party. Required spares materials will be
Partys Scope of supply.
