MOAs Cover Girl For September, N201EU: A Very Pretty 201 Indeed!
This is one very good looking Mooney being photographed at sunset over Lake Candlewood, Connecticut.
Its owner and keeper is Rich Szentkuti of Ridgefield, Conn who reports he has flown it from Quebec to the
Bahamas and Key West for nigh on to 10 years. He is one very proud Mooniac who reports that this 1977
M20J is his all time favorite ride...Even more than his other Brand B Baron, which he only uses when
more than 4 seats are needed!
Future Cover Girls:
Could you have a Cover Girl lurking in your hangar or tie-down? If so, let us
hear from you. Dont be shy! We prefer vertical format slides shot air to air, (not through plexiglass), but
will consider other formats and plain photos. Every Mooney deserves a shot at being a Cover Girl...

This month we are proud to announce several renown penmasters and industry
experts who have joined our MOA roster. Former Mooney CEO/President and

on airframe corrosion and corrosion preventative procedures. Jim will pen his
Corrosion Corner column starting with this issue and his wisdom may just save
your Mooney long-term. The grandaddy of high performance aircraft engines is
generally thought to be none other than one Mena, Ark, based engine hot rod-
der by the name of Terry Capehart. Terry joins our fold with pen in hand to
help moderate a column termed, The Power Pac Pro. This month we also con-
tinue the frank discussion concerning the current happenings at Kerrville

tional , and mental aspects of our life-styles as they relate to heart wellness. For
nearly 20 years Mooney Guru
Coy G. Jacob
has been a regular contributor
for various magazines like AVIATION CONSUMER, MAPA LOG, LIGHT-
PLANE MAINTENANCE, and PRIVATE PILOT. Coy has either founded or
been involved in several Mooney only organizations and this month he tells us
a little known secret on how he and long-time Mooney VP Ed Penney hot start
fuel injected Lycs every time...within 20 seconds! This month we welcome back
well known fellow Mooney owner and famed AVIATION CONSUMER Editor
extraordinaire,
Paul Bertorelli
who offers a very well researched
article on ditching stats. Read it if you read nothing else and take
heed his findings. It may very well save your life someday!
Make no
mistake, Paul is known as doing his homework on this subject and this article
may very well may be one of the most worthwhile articles you will ever read on
the subject anywhere...! FLYING and AOPA PILOTS very own Amy Loboda
