APPLIANCES


Your trailer may or may not have the following appliances:

Stove, Refrigerator, Water Heater, Furnace, Air Conditioner.


1. To light your stove, push the knob down and turn counter-clock wise at the same
time place a lighted match to the burner you are lighting.

2. Refrigerator instructions will vary with size. 6 cu ft refrigerators have a spark
light which lights automatically on gas. (See manufacturer owners-manual)


3 cu ft refrigerators have a pilot button and a spark button located at the bottom
of the refrigerator. Lighting instructions are also located at the bottom of the
refrigerator. (See manufacturer owners-manual)

3. Spark ignition water heater lights by pushing the start switch located inside your
trailer. Most often the switch is located in the kitchen area. (See manufacturer
owners-manual).

4. The furnace is a self-ignition system. To turn on - set the thermostat to the
desired temperature. To shut off - push the switch all the way to the left. (See
manufacturer owners-manual).

5. Set your dial at the desired setting on your air conditioner. Be sure to rotate the
HEAT-COOL knob as needed. (See manufacturer owners-manual).

LP SYSTEM

The L.P. tanks are located on the front of your trailer. All L.P. systems are installed with
a L.P. DETECTOR.

TO OPERATE:

Turn the valve on the top of the L.P. bottle to the on position. Proceed with lighting the
appliances as needed.

DUAL L.P. SYSTEMS (optional) - Turn both valves on the top of the L.P. bottles to the on
position. Proceed as stated above.

CHANGING BOTTLES ON DUAL SYSTEM

Your L.P. regulator located between the two L.P. bottles and has a directional lever
pointing to the bottle that is being used. There is a small glass bulb on top of this
regulator. WHEN IN USE THE GLASS BULB WILL BE GREEN IN COLOR. As the bottle
empties out you will see the GLASS BULB TURN TO RED IN COLOR. At this time you will
rotate directional lever 180 degrees. You will need to remove the empty L.P. bottle and
have it filled. Upon returning with the full L.P. bottle, re-install your bottle, making sure
you tighten down the traveling bracket and the L.P. hose before turning the bottle to the
on position.

IF YOU SMELL GAS:

EXTINGUISH ALL OPEN FLAMES, PILOT LIGHTS AND ALL SMOKING MATERIAL.
TURN OFF THE MAIN L.P. SUPPLY VALVE ON THE TANK(S).
DO NOT OPERATE ANY ELECTRICAL SWITCHES.
DO NOT START THE ENGINE OR GENERATOR.
OPEN ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS AND LEAVE AREA UNTIL THE ODOR CLEARS.

NOTE: Stovetop burners consume a great amount of oxygen that creates
a danger of asphyxiation if used for comfort heating purposes. Proper
ventilation is especially necessary when cooking. Be sure to open
overhead vents and/or turn on the exhaust fan or attic fan.

ELECTRICAL

The electrical system consists of a marine grade battery, a 35' power cord and a
combined 45 Amp 12-Volt converter/110 Volt Breaker Box.

The electrical system is
fully automatic
. Simply plug in your 35' power cord to a 110-volt
power supply for full service of your trailer.

AUXILARY 12-VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM

Your trailer will run most items needed on your 12-volt system. All lighting, water
pump, and furnace will operate off your auxiliary battery.

YOU CANNOT RUN THE MICROWAVE, AIR CONDITIONER OR ANY 110-VOLT
RECEPTACLES OFF YOUR BATTERY.

CHARGING YOUR AUXILARY BATTERY

Your battery will automatically charge anytime your 35' power cord is plugged into a
110-volt power supply and the battery disconnect switch is in the on position. If your
trailer is used for a few days without being plugged into a 110-volt power supply, your
auxiliary battery may become LOW. At this time you will need to plug your 35' power
cord into a 110-volt power supply and turn the battery disconnect switch to the on
position for at least 24 hours for your auxiliary battery to become fully charged again.

BREAKERS AND FUSES

Your trailer is equipped with self-tripping 110-volt breakers, 12-volt/15 amp automotive
blade type fuses, and (1) 40-amp breaker in your battery charge line.

GFI RECEPTICALS

Your trailer may be equipped with one or more receptacles marked GFI. Your main GFI
receptacle will have a reset button on the front of it. If this becomes tripped you will
want to re-set it to activate all the receptacles marked GFI.

WATER SYSTEM

Your trailer is equipped with a completely self-contained water system composed of a
fresh water tank, water pump, water fill city water connection, and hot water heater.

(PLEASE NOTE)
Single line pumps with cold water only will not have water heater or city water connection.

FILLING FRESH WATER TANK

1. Open the potable water only hatch door.
2. Unscrew the cap from the filler connection.
3. Insert a supply hose from a source of city water. Fill until full. On most units the
water tank is visible by looking under front dinette seat or sofa.

CITY WATER

When parked for extended periods where a source of potable city water is available, you
can connect directly to that source allowing the 12-volt demand system to be bypassed.

TO CONNECT CITY WATER
1. The city water connection and the fresh water fill is located inside the potable
water only hatch door.
2. Connect a supply hose from a source of city water to the hose fitting inside the
door.
3. Turn on the source of city water.
4. City water pressure is regulated as it enters your trailer. It will not damage the
fresh water system.

NOTE: When filling the fresh water tank or connecting to city water be sure to use a
water hose manufactured and labeled FOR POTABLE WATER to insure the hose will
not FLAVOR the water.

FRESH WATER TANK DRAIN

The drain cock-pit for the fresh water tank is located near the water tank. By opening
this valve you will be able to drain the water from your water tank.

12-VOLT WATER PUMP WATER SYSTEM - PG2


The water pump is used to pressurize the fresh water system when it is not connected
to the city water. The pump is controlled by a switch located on the control panel of the
range hood (most trailers). The pump is a demand type and is designed to maintain the
water at 15 to 30 psi. THERE IS NO MAINTENANCE ON THIS PUMP.

Turn the pump ON and OPEN EACH FAUCET, one at a time, and allow the water to run
until the flow of water is steady. The pump will cycle ON and OFF automatically when
water is in use to maintain between 15 and 30 psi.

DRAINING THE HOLDING TANKS

Drain the SEWAGE tank first and then the WASTE tank. By using this sequence the
sewage will be flushed out of the drain system and the sewer hose by the wastewater.

TO DRAIN:

1. Remove the sewer hose from the storage tube.

2. Check that both drain valves are in the closed position

3. Remove the safety cap from the drain termination.

4. Connect the sewer hose to the drain termination by attaching the hose adapter to
the drain termination and turning it 90 degrees to allow the tabs on the hose
adapter to lock on the tabs on the sewer termination.

5. Place the discharge end of the sewer hose into the sewer connection and then
check that all the connections are secure to prevent accidental spillage.
