HOW TO RIDE
HOW TO READ THE TIME TABLES
The major destinations on each route are
printed on the top. Reading from left to
right, find the destination point closest to
you. Follow the column down to determine
the time the bus will be at that particular
location. Clocks may differ
Arrive at least five minutes
earlier than the printed times.
WHERE THE BUS STOPS
The buses travel on specific routes which are
shown on the map. Buses stop at corners or
bus shelters along the route when passengers
wave to the driver. Some exceptions apply. In
downtown Moorhead, buses stop only at the
shelters on Center Avenue. At the EasTen Mall,
buses stop only at Cashwise and K-Mart. Moorhead buses
stop only at the GTC while in Fargo. Routes 1 and 2 only
stop at designated bus stops, which are signed.
HOW TO SIGNAL THE DRIVER TO STOP
Stand on the right-hand side near corner
of the intersection closest to the lane
traveled by the bus. Wave to the driver
to let him know that you wish to board.
A bus cannot stop in a right-turn lane
unless the bus will make a right turn.
ON-BOARD COURTESIES
Have exact change, token or pass ready before you board.
Drivers do not carry change.
Be careful when entering and leaving the bus, especially
during inclement weather.
Limit yourself to a maximum of two large packages. Pack-
ages cant take up seats where passengers may want to
sit.
Allow senior citizens and persons with disabilities to sit
in the front of the bus.
All objects must be kept out of the aisles, including wheel-
chairs, strollers, walkers, grocery carts, etc. Each bus has
two spaces designated for securement of wheelchairs.
Note that eating, smoking, drinking and playing music are
prohibited on the bus.
The use of threatening behavior or vulgar language will
result in your being asked to leave the bus or GTC.
