beginning techniques
for working on the
potters wheel.
Throughout the course
the students will learn
centering, basic
shapes, coil building,
pinch pots, and basic
history of pottery. This
fun, handson class is
geared for first time
clay and wheel
students.

pieces.

painting. This class will
get students talking
about value and
shading, using a
variety of textures, and
spatial techniques such
as the use of overlap.
Students in this class
will be exposed to the
Sunflower paintings of
Vincent Van Gogh, the
still life paintings of
Paul Cezanne, and the
gorgeous flower
paintings of Georgia
OKeeffe. Artists in this
class will come home
with many large
beautiful paintings.

A happenstance

eccentric old ladies

across time and space

classic adventure!
Emphasis will be on
character development,
script analysis, voice
production, and
movement.
*A tesseract (in case
you dont know) is a
wrinkle in time.
Please note that this is
a twoweek camp
(mornings). This class
culminates in a final
presentation the last
hour of class on Friday,
July 18.

emotionally. Each day
we will explore various
artistic medias and
approaches as well as
discussing their
similarities and
differences. Students
should wear old
