SensaLevel Ultra Specification Sheet

The family of SensaLevel Ultra sensors currently comes in two versions Model # Z16010TSZ (2 wire Bi-Stable current model)
and Z16011TSZ (3 wire model).

Common Features to both Sensors: Both sensors have the capability to sense aqueous solutions through plastic walled tanks up to 10mm thick. Sensor dimensions: 50.5mm x 38.75mm x 6.75mm Built-in slosh filtering function during normal operation Required 8 seconds of continuous fluid sensing before output is switched to activated state Required 4 seconds without momentary activation before sensor switches to an unactivated state Production test feature that disables slosh filtering function for first 5 seconds after power up, sensors will switch in less
than 60 micro-seconds in this mode Production test feature is also useful for OEMs that wish to use sampling technique in their application to reduce power
consumption for the bi-stable current model (Z16010TSZ) Mount to outside of plastic tank using double-sided foam tape (3M 5925 VHB) RoHS
compliant 12 vdc and 24 vdc compatible Minimum Normal Operating Voltage: 6v (absolute min. 5.5vdc) Maximum recommended operating voltage of 30vdc, absolute max. voltage is 45vdc

Individual Sensor Features:

TST # Z16010TSZ: (2-wire Bi-stable current model) Single unit with 2 wire leads 36 in. long Sensor draws 12.75mA +/- 1mA when the sensor is un-activated and 22.75mA +/-1mA when activated. Will not be damaged if hooked up with reverse polarity, however unit will not operate.

TST # Z16011TSZ: (3 wire type) Single unit with 3 wire leads 12 in. long. The output has over current protection. A self resetting fuse rated 1.1Adc trip and 0.55Adc hold @ 20C. Actual carry
current must be determined by operating temperature of the sensor in your application. We recommend 0.250mA
maximum continuous load current. The Fuse is UL, CSA and TUV rated. (See Wickmann fuse specification
SMD2016P050TF.) This sensor has a quiescent current less than 0.120mA unactivated and less than 0.5mA activated. The switched output is rated for 55Vdc maximum applied voltage. Maximum pulse current is 20Amps for 20mSec. (See Wickmann fuse specification SMD2016P050TF.) The 3 wire version cannot be connected with reverse bias.
