The KSI-1451/ASC is a Professional grade keyboard that
integrates a PCSC compatible, ISO-7816 smart card
reader as well as
the AuthenTec® Biometric Finger-
print sensor.
The SCM Smart Card reader works
seamlessly with all the major middleware applications
and is Common Access Card compatible for US govern-
ment and DOD use. Firmware can be securely upgraded
in the field. The KSI-1451/ASC is compliant with all
banking and IT standards and certifications. It is also de-
signed to support a wide range of e-commerce, authenti-
cation, PKI and network based security applications. It
is also compatible with Smart OS middleware. USB
interface for easy plug and play. Also, one additional
USB hub port.
