The name "San Diego `N' Line Dancers" shall not be used for any activity without prior consent of the Board. The current San Diego `N' Line Dancers Constitution and By-laws shall be posted on the official San Diego `N' Line Dancers website (www.sdnld.org). Annual dues for the membership term of July 1 ­ June 30 shall be $12 per person. Dues are payable annually in June/July. Dancers wishing to join the San Diego `N' Line Dancers after July must pay a pro-rated membership fee: a. After December 31: $9 b. After March 31: $6 All San Diego `N' Line Dancers dance functions held in Balboa Park through the IDASDC shall have admission prices of $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Non-members shall be allowed to attend three (3) consecutive San Diego `N' Line Dancers events (socials or workshops). After attending three (3) consecutive San Diego `N' Line Dancers events, they will be required to join the San Diego `N' Line Dancers and pay the required membership dues to continue attending. The Treasurer shall maintain an San Diego `N' Line Dancers checking account under the Tax ID#______________. The account number and the name and address of said bank or credit union shall be given to the President and the Vice President. The Treasurer shall immediately notify the President and the Vice President of any change of account to another bank or credit union. The President and Treasurer shall have signatory rights on the checking account. The Treasurer shall maintain the checkbook for the San Diego `N' Line Dancers. The Treasurer may pay expenditures of the San Diego `N' Line Dancers up to $250 or to the approved budget limit, whichever is greater. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. The President shall co-sign with the Treasurer all checks drawn in excess of $250 or the approved budget limit, whichever is greater. 11. No bill or debt shall be contracted by any member without the consent of the Board of Directors. 12. All bills or debts shall be presented to the Treasurer within 30 days of obtaining a receipt. Bills or debts presented after 30 days of obtaining a receipt face serious possibility of not being approved for payment or reimbursement, at the discretion of the Board. 13. The results of all elections and votes taken at General Club Business Meetings shall be open to challenge by any member eligible to participate in the election/vote being challenged. Any and all challenges must be made within 90 days of the close of the election/vote. Challenges must be presented in writing to the Executive Board. The ballots, tallies, and any other materials relevant to elections and votes shall be kept for 90 days from the close of the election/vote or until all challenges have been resolved, whichever is longer. After that time, the ballots shall be shredded and only the results will be entered into the Official Club Record. 14. At any Board, Committee, or other Club Meeting, if any person in attendance at the meeting becomes unruly, abusive toward others, offensive, or otherwise disruptive, the person presiding over the meeting shall ask the offending person to refrain from participating in the meeting until he/she can participate without being offensive, abusive, or otherwise disruptive. person does not cooperate, the person presiding over the meeting must immediately adjourn the meeting. 15. Proposed amendments and/or motions of changes, additions, deletions to the Standing Rules must be presented in writing to the Secretary at the first meeting at which they are proposed. 16. Club committee chairpersons will select their committee members from those who have volunteered to serve. The committee chairperson will have discretion as to the number of volunteers accepted on their committee.
