The siren tests that CSEPP conducts
every month use a tone that sounds like
Westminster chimes what some people
say sounds like a door bell or the chimes
of a grandfather clock.
Its easy to tell the difference between
test sirens and emergency sirens. If the
Umatilla Chemical Depot has an
emergency, sirens will make a solid,
steady warning tone for three minutes
straight, meaning you should take
protective action.
