Description
These instructions provide information about replacing Analogic display
modules on DeZURIK Precision Electric Control Valves with Devar display
modules.
Note: This instruction cannot be used on DataTech display modules found on
some Precision Electric Control Valves. For instructions on replacing
DataTech display modules, please contact your local DeZURIK represen-
tative or DeZURIK customer service.
Removing Old
Display Module
The control panel contains electrical parts. Removing
access plates or covers while the power is connected to the
valve can cause personal injury or equipment damage.
Disconnect power to the control station before removing
any access plates or covers.
1. Take valve offline and disconnect power to the control station.
2. Unscrew the 4 screws on the front panel of the control station and slide
the front panel and component boards out of the control station.
3. Cut the 7 wires leading to the back of the display module and remove
the jumper wire from the wire leading from circuit board connection J.
4. Remove 1/4" of the insulation from the cut ends of the wires.
5. Remove the 2 nuts and lockwashers securing the display module to the
cover and remove the display module from the front panel.
Installing New
Display Module
1. Slide the bracket off the back of the old display module and place it on
the new display module.
2. Place new display module onto the front panel and secure with the 2
nuts and lockwashers.

3. Attach the 7 wires from the circuit board to the connecting block on the
back of the display module as shown in Table A and Figure 1:
4. Ensure dip switches S1-1, S1-5, S1-10, S2-1 are set to the on position.
All other switches should be set to the off position.
Note: Dip switches are located on the side of the display module.
5. Slide the front panel and component boards back into the control station
and secure it with the 4 screws.
6. Reconnect the power to the control station.
