MBG Releases Version 3.7
MBG Releases Version 3.7
[New York, July 10, 2002]MBG, Inc. rolls out the newest versions of its i</i>TAPIN and i</i>CUBE
products in July. i</i>TAPIN is MBGs invoice analysis product, and i</i>CUBE is its corporate
chargeback system. Both are web-based and designed for the nations largest organizations.
Current users include GE, Ford, International Paper, and MetLife.
One of the most exciting changes is the new Edit Mode which permits screen customization and
provides new language capabilities. Administrators and users with proper permissions now have
the ability to customize the
systems by renaming most
labels. This benefits
international companies who
can now translate labels into
virtually any language
(including those which
require unicode character
sets, for example, Chinese,
Japanese, and Russian). In
addition, many of MBGs
customers are large
organizations who have
developed their own
corporate language. With
Edit Mode, organizations can
customize the systems to
reflect their needs.
MBG values its customers feedback and has utilized several client suggestions from the most
recent Client Conference in the new version. Version 3.7 further encourages feedback with the
new Suggestions link which is accessible directly from the products web interface. Clients click
on the link and can submit suggestions that will be sent to MBGs developers. MBG stores these
suggestions and considers them for inclusion in future releases.
Version 3.7 of i</i>TAPIN also features a new kind of integration between MBG products. For clients
who use both i</i>TAPIN and MBGs Circuit Inventory module of i</i>SAMS, a new report is available
which merges information from the two systems. The Circuit Inventory Exceptions Report allows
clients to validate vendor invoices (in i</i>TAPIN) against their own internal inventory (in the Circuit
Inventory module). MBG plans to further implement these inter-product reports in the future to
maximize the effectiveness of their products.
MBG will release version 3.7 to its clients in July. Because MBG products are completely web-
based, upgrades are quick and seamless. The aforementioned enhancements are only a small
portion of the new features of version 3.7. For a complete list, please visit
