DFX Adapter Quick Installation Guide
Installing the DFX Adapter with Stereo Sound Systems
If you are using your DFX Adapter for Stereo playback only, i.e. you only have stereo speakers
or headphones, setup of the adapter is very simple:
1. First plug the DFX Adapter into a USB port on your PC.
2. Then disconnect your speaker plug from the PC audio output jack and plug it into the jack labeled
Front Audio
on the DFX
Adapter.
3. Your PC will now automatically setup the DFX Adapter as the default audio device that will be used for all audio playback on
your PC. You dont need to install any drivers in this case as they are automatically installed by Windows.
Suggestion: For the highest audio quality, its best to have the Volume control on the DFX Adapter turned all the way up, then use
your speakers volume control to adjust your audio playback level. To turn the Volume all the way up on the DFX Adapter, click
the black
VOL+
button on the right top side of the adapter until the volume is at maximum, then adjust your speaker volume
control to set the playback level.
