1. PV module rating information is available from manufacturers data sheet.
2. String-sizing calculation is typically offered by inverter manufacturer. See, for
example the string sizing calculator at www.sma-america.com
3. Note that PV output circuit fuses may be located either at the DC disconnect
or at a separate combiner box.
4. Maximum system voltage is the product of the Voc of the panels x # panels
per string # ambient temperature correction factor. Per NEC 690.7, for typical
Pasadena temperatures, the correction factor would be 1.13.
5. DC disconnect ratings per manufacturer
6. Inverter ratings per manufacturer.
