A Note of Thanks ... To Our Hosts and Hostesses
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said, "Music is the universal language of mankind." Here in Cincinnati, our world-class orchestra has been speaking this beautiful language since 1895. There's another kind of longevity to celebrate--the 19th season of Parties of Note! And since 19 leads to 20, we can already anticipate our 20th anniversary in 2007. What an accomplishment! From its inception, the Cincinnati Symphony Association's Parties of Note project has been popular, successful, enlightening, educational, and fun. Every season offers unique events that entertain hundreds of people while raising funds (and the profile) of the CSO in our community. Many people are involved in planning, hosting and performing each season. Our gracious hosts and hostesses, loyal volunteers, outstanding musicians and dedicated staff all deserve our grateful appreciation and thanks. Enjoy the 19th season of Parties of Note, and thank you for your support. Jane Tuten CSA President

Our ROOTS
The seeds of what has become Taft, Stettinius & Hollister were planted over 100 years ago by the skilled hands of some of Cincinnati's most venerated attorneys--lifelong citizens of the city they served. Through the years--even as the firm was growing and emerging as one of the region's top legal firms-- something quiet, yet remarkable was happening. The firm's attorneys, each in their own way, were personally and passionately involved in some dimension of community

life and service... determined to give back to the city a full measure of the rare quality of life they had come to savor here. One by one... and steadily throughout the years... they became highly-respected civic leaders; providing time, talent and resources to enhance the arts, education, the beauty of the city, the health of its people, the strength of its communities and more.
