">Vassars
Mens and Womens Swimming and Diving team is offering 5 groups of childrens
swim lessons and 1 group of adult swim lessons. Swim group placement
will be based on demonstrated ability during the first class meeting. 
Please send registrations as soon as possible. I cannot guarantee registration
to anyone as class sizes are limited.  Your best chance of getting
into a class (es) is to send registrations in ASAP.

Three important notes:  First, we are offering 8 nights of lessons..  Second, Vassar
utilizes a lightning/storm policy with regard to the pool.  In case of lightning, everyone leaves
the pool area (is encouraged NOT to jump in the showers) and the pool
is closed for a minimum of 30:00 following the last sighting of lightning/clap
of thunder.  In this scenario for lessons, we would delay the start
of lessons.  Third, all lessons will be taught by VC students.

Fee Structure:  The VC class fee is for the first person in a family to
take lessons.  The second VC class fee reflects a discount for
each additional person from the same VC family to take lessons. 
Likewise, the no VC class fee is the fee for the first person in a
family, and the second no VC class fee reflects a discount for each
additional person from the same non-Vassar family to take lessons.  
Wimpfheimer Nursery School students are considered VC community for
class fees.

As a participant in the Vassar Swim Lessons and/or Vassar Swim Clinics,
I agree and acknowledge that neither the Trustees of Vassar, officers,
agents or employees (the "College"), shall have any liability
to the Vassar Swim Lessons as a result of any loss, injury or damage
(including death) incurred or suffered by any participant in connection
with such participation and use.   I hereby expressly waive
all rights, claims, causes of action and the like, of any nature whatsoever,
which we may have against the College in connection with our participation
in the Vassar Swim Lessons at Vassar College and our use of the College's
facilities in connection therewith.
