The TE/1RI is recommended to be connected to a 20A - 30A two pole breaker. Major household electrical and electronic equipment are covered against surge damage for 10 years when a TE/1RI is installed by a qualified electrician. If the TE/1RI surge protector is damaged during the first 10 years of ownership, surgeassureTM will replace it free of charge! The surgeassureTM TE/1RI shields motor-driven appliances in residential and light commercial applications against electrical power surge damage, including lightning, from entering through the main electrical service panel. Multiple MOV technology with thermal disconnect to prevent catastrophic failure. Green LED light indicates full protection is present.
