Quality Assurance / Quality Control Representative NYC Area
Conservation Services Group, Inc. (CSG) is seeking full-time Field Account Managers for its New York Residential
programs. CSG is one of the fastest growing and most diverse energy efficiency and renewable energy companies in
the country, with 19 offices in 15 states. CSGs Albany office is responsible for implementing two major small
homes programs for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and/or New
York utilities: for retrofits, CSG administers New York Home Performance with ENERGY STAR; and for new
construction, CSG administers New York ENERGY STAR Labeled Homes. CSG is also establishing an office on
Long Island to administer these programs for the Long Island Power Authority.
Responsibilities:
Conduct QA/QC visits on customers homes
Answer customer questions regarding subcontractor or energy advisor visits.
Conduct post combustion safety testing.
Inspect work listed on the work order/completion form to verify that the insulation and air sealing
measures have been installed to program quality standards.
Document inspection findings and if a problem is found, document on paper and with a digital camera.
Forward this information to the Contractor Manager and office on a daily basis.
Fix minor defects during the inspection visit.
Assist in the resolution of customer issues
Perform Infra-Red scans on homes receiving wall insulation to verify the measures were installed properly.
Perform random samples on homes to determine if energy advisors specs are complete. Give feedback to
the advisors and program manager.
Technical Support/Supervision
Provide technical support to Residential Energy Specialists, AS crews, and contractors.
Perform follow up visits on complicated thermal specs
Assist in Contract / Spec review as assigned by the Contractor Manager
Assist in contractor trainings
o Assist Contractor Manager with contractor trainings
o Perform in process inspections to give on site feedback to contractors
o Provide ongoing feedback to construction manager work
o Provide air sealing training to contractors
o Help train contractors in the use of the blower door
Qualifications:
Experience in residential insulation work, energy conservation and residential energy auditing.
Work well in a team
Experience with Blower door diagnostics
Good customer service and communication skills
Must be able to carry 35 lbs and be able to crawl in attic spaces as needed
Flexible schedule, some evenings and Saturdays will be required.
Must have valid drivers license and safe driving record to be approved to operate a Company vehicle.
Salary Range:
Salary is based on experience. Range $55-$65
