'HVFULSWLRQ
The Meridian 2ZRC0247000224 and the
2ZRC0247000424 CV Controllers are used
for controlling a constant volume HVAC
unit. The 2ZRC0247000224 is the Fahren-
heit version and the 2ZRC0247000424 is
the Celsius version of the controller. The
CV Controller operates stand-alone and
shares common data, such as outside air
temperature, over a network. A System
Manager is connected to the CV Controller
to provide a central operators interface to
all CV Controllers on the network. A Me-
ridian CV system provides an excellent al-
ternative to installing multiple programma-
ble thermostats to control constant volume
HVAC units. CV Controllers are designed
with room temperature, room setpoint ad-
just, outside air temperature, discharge air
temperature and auxiliary alarm inputs.
Relay outputs provided are; fan (continuous
or cycling), four stages of heating/cooling
(user configurable) and economizer control
(0-10VDC output, full modulating). An in-
ternal seven day schedule function is also
built in to each CV Controller.
0RXQWLQJ
The CV Controller is provided with an inte-
gral backplate for mounting inside of a
control enclosure. It is recommended that
the CV Controller is mounted in the HVAC
unit control enclosure, or in a control enclo-
sure in the building equipment room. An optional factory control enclosure for the CV Controller is available.
