Operation above Current Alarm Upper Limit invokes a timer. Upon timeout, the channel is re-sampled. An over-current situation at this time will
cause the channel voltage to be switched off and the alarm set to FAIL. This event sequence is duplicated for operation below Current Alarm
Lower Limit.
