The CSP allows you to day-part your content so you can hit your target
audience at the right time. Like the CMP, this standalone device is simple,
small and easy to use. With the CSP you can now schedule, by the minute
if you wish, content to play at the exact time you want it to ensuring your
content is dynamic and targeting the proper audience.
Day-parting is critical in digital signage. As an example, use the CSP at
a mall to target the mall-walkers in the morning, stay-at-home moms and
dads in the daytime, after-school hours require entirely different content

The NMP is a distributed media system designed for implementing small
and large-scale digital signage networks. For applications with require-
ments to schedule and frequently change content, this product allows the
functionality to day-part and effectively reach your target market through a
LAN or WAN.
Video content is encoded up to DVD resolution using a very-low bit rate,
MPEG-4-like compression algorithm so distribution is efficient. Media
storage uses reliable solid-state flash memory with 1,000,000-hour MTBF
(mean-time-between-failure) rating. System architecture is based on open
standards, accessible across the Internet, requiring no specialized network
management nor media servers, and is designed to operate over low bit
rate networks such as the ISDN.

Network Media Processor
The NXP includes all the functionality of the NMP, but adds the ability to
interact with other devices, such as touch screens, bar code scanners, IR
sensor and others. This opens up many more applications for the product.
The RS232 and USB ports enable the device to support touch screen moni-
tors and connectivity to other devices such as coupon printers. This also
enable user data (e.g. user click-through data) from the touch screen to
be collected at the POP and sent back to the media server for analysis and
reporting back to 3rd party advertisers.
The device can accept simple ASCII/hex codes to control basic functions
of the device for integration with existing and customer custom developed
applications. This makes it very easy to control and integrate for the A/V
world. For the IT world, we also offer APIs into the Media Display System
software platform for take advantage of advance scheduling and network
management features.

format. For other files, such as the ones listed below, playback requires .dsa
files. Adfotain Transcoder software is the tool to convert files for playback
on the AGN Professional (AGNPRO) products.
Adfotain Transcoder LE Software is bundled at no additional charge with all
AGN Professional (AGNPRO) Media Processors. Adfotain Transcoder XE
Software is shipped separately and is an additional charge.
Adfotain LE Transcoder Software
Adfotain LE Transcoder Software converts Macromedia Flash, Microsoft
PowerPoint and Windows Media for playback on Media Processors.

Adfotain XE Transcoder Software converts Macromedia Flash, Microsoft
PowerPoint and Windows Media plus DVD media, FOB files and Apple
QuickTime files for playback on Media Processors. Additionally, XE provides
screen orientation functionality.
Software Requirements: Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Home op-
erating system, with Service Pack 2 update installed. Microsoft PowerPoint
2002/2003 required for PowerPoint support. Macromedia Flash player for
Flash content support.
Hardware Requirements : IBM PC-compatible equivalent to 2.8GHz Pen-
tium-4 or faster; 512MB system memory; Ultra DMA compatible or faster
HD, 20GB space needed.
