Description



Features
Cummins Power Generation TWS control is a convenient
device for interfacing any Cummins Power Generation 3-
wire start standby generator set with virtually any
automatic transfer switch or remote start-stop signaling
device. The control requires only a two-wire contact
closure to initiate set startup and open contact for
stopping. Operator involvement is limited to positioning
the TWS control toggle switch to select generator set
operating mode.


Adjustable time delay preheat - 0.6-60 sec.
Adjustable time delay overcrank - 0.6-60 sec.
Compatible - 50/60 Hz.
Steel cabinet Sturdy, for surface mounting in any
position.
Relay control - For simplicity and ease of service.
Conduit entry - Bottom knockout.
Bonding stud - For positive earth ground.
Toggle switch - 3-position for generator set operating
mode.
- Auto - Normal operation by remote 2-wire start.
- Handcrank - For routine maintenance service (electric
start at the engine control panel).
- Stop - Momentary position allows stopping of the
generator set in any operational mode.
