LOOS customers have a modular yet completely
integrated overall system at their disposal. And this
is all achieved through series technology that is no
more expensive than conventional technology.

LOOS SYSTEM CONTROL LSC
steam
hot water boiler systems
plant management system for steam, in the HW
system, too, all the pieces come together. The
advantages of the hot water LSC become clear
where there is a sequence control of multi-boiler
systems with the incorporation of general func-
tions such as fuel supply. Whether it is for
or
efficient bus systems
provide a low-priced linking of the various ele-
ments even in the most complex systems.

LOOS BOILER CONTROL (LBC)
now also available as standard for hot water boiler systems
The series launch of the PLC-based boiler manage-
ment systems Loos Boiler Control and Loos
System Control has revolutionised the philosophy
behind the operation and function of steam boiler
systems. Their incredible ease of operation
combined with increased operating reliability and
many other advantages have caused these systems
to be a resounding success in the market. The
modular, bus-capable management systems have
been further refined and are now also available to
the operators of LOOS hot water boilers.
As with the tried and tested LBC for steam boilers,
all the regulating and control functions are
combined in a PLC as the central operating unit.
The LBC automation device in the control panel
front door contains the entire operational and
functional logistics of the hot water boiler. A plain
text display shows all the functions with the
associated operating states, setpoints and sensor-
captured operating parameters in structured form.
An integrated prewarning system is an important
part of the fault alarm management. If critical
operating states arise, all the existing data are
captured and logged. This means that counter-
measures can be taken specifically before boiler
faults occur, which can often result in expensive
production losses.
The new LBC for hot water boiler systems offers
the following functions and possibilities:
Automatic start-up of the boiler system
Control
that has been economically and
ecologically optimised
Return flow temperature boosting
Ambient
temperature control
