Dont Dress for Dinner
October 4
Marc Camolettis comedy/farce that thrilled Alhambra audi-
ences in our 1994 season is set in a stylish French farm-
house as Bernard sends his wife out of town and invites his
mistress in for gourmet delights prepared by a cordon bleu
cook. Mix in a best friend to supply an alibi, who also hap-
pens to be having an affair with the wife, toss in the wifes
unexpected early return, shake together at break neck
speed, and the ingredients provide a sure-fire recipe for an
evening of hilarious laughter and great fun.

South Pacific
November 8
Based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by James Michener, this classic Rodgers and
Hammerstein musical is set in an island paradise during World War II. Two parallel love stories
are threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war. South Pacific musical highlights include Some
Enchanted Evening, There is Nothin' Like A Dame, Bali Hai, Younger Than Springtime, and I'm
Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair. The Broadway production won the Pulitzer Prize for drama
and nine Tony awards including Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score.
Christmas Carole
December 6
This holiday favorite has been an Alhambra Christmas tradition for over fifteen years. This production, based
on the Charles Dickens' classic story, brings to life one of literature's most famous penny-pinchers, Ebenezer
Scrooge. Fun for the entire family, Christmas Carole is a memorable musical voyage to Victorian England to
find out how a miserly skinflint discovers the true meaning of Christmas in a most unusual way. Invite the
family for this yuletide favorite. Childs Price $50 per child when accompanied by an adult.
