Although this information has been collected as part of the admissions process,
there is an agreed upon need to have students enter, review, and update this
information on a regular basis within the student self-service information system.
For the spring 2008 term, an Emergency Contact Verification hold will be applied to
all students who have been admitted to an academic program for the term. The
hold will prevent students from all registration activities, until they have updated or
verified their emergency contact information in the student self-service system.


Note: Students who register without being admitted are not required to provide any
emergency contact information at the time of registration.

Step 1. Log on to your campus student information system by entering your User ID and Password, and clicking
.

The Learner Services page opens displaying the Emergency Contact Verification
hold in the Holds Summary box.


Step 2. Click the Emergency Contact Verification link.

The Your Holds/Hold Item page displays the reason for the hold and instructions
for releasing it.


Step 3. Click the Return to Holds Summary link (at the bottom of the page).

The Learner Services page opens.


Step 4. Click the Personal Portfolio link.

Step 6. To add an emergency contact, click

The Emergency Contact Detail page opens.


Step 7. Enter the name of the emergency contact in the Contact Name field.

Step 8. Enter the relationship of the emergency contact in the Relationship field.

Step 9. If the contact has the same address and phone number as you, select the check
box next to Check here if this contact has the same address/phone number as
you and go to Step 13.
If the contact does not share your address and phone number, go to Step 10.

Click the Change Country link.

The Lookup Country page opens.

The Lookup Country Search Results display.


Step 12.
Select the appropriate country from the Search Results. Click the View All link to
display the complete list of countries.


Note: It is necessary to click the Change Country link and enter the country code when
adding a USA address as well as a foreign address.
