- for distances of a few centimeters (max 10), separate unshielded wires may be
used. Better twist by pairs the wires for TPA and TPB
- for longer distances, use individually shielded pairs for TPA and TPB. Connect
the shields of the pairs at both sides to the power GND (not to the general
shield)
- be aware that all standard FireWire cables achieve also internally a cross
connection between TPA and TPB wires.

The Fire-i Digital Board camera is compliant with CE and FCC regulations ONLY when
used in its standard configuration:
- either : motherboard only, use of the standard 1

FireWire connector
- or : with the daughter board attached on the motherboard, the grounding contact
of the motherboard touching firmly the metal of the connector of the
daughterboard, use of one or both of standard FireWire connectors.

Any other method of connection may cancel the compliance, and may require additional
study of filtering components and shielding.
