Acrylic panels are a cost-effective alternative to polycarbonate. While less impact-resistant, acrylic is
available in more colors, and lighter in weight. Acrylic is great in applications where optical clarity and
resistance to the elements are important. Only half as heavy as glass and only 40% as heavy as aluminum,
acrylic is also easy to cut, drill, rout, and paint. Applications such as displays, signs, furniture, low-impact
guarding, and partitions are where acrylic makes its mark.
